Bedtime Tales

I found this afghan in an old book (1981) I bought at a yard sale. The blanket is Tunisian with cross-stitching. I have a new grand-baby due in September and this will be his/hers. Tails are added separately. I need to add a border and a backing to protect cross stitching.
