Barb. I am at the point with the junk Amazon sells today that I always read the one star reviews as soon as I start thinking this may be the one. In this case most of them were that the first product wasn't the size advertised, and came spliced of multiple pieces, with cheap tape holding the parts together.

And the following one, which sounded like your past problem.

I put this mat in y new rolling tool cart. After a couple months, all my tools are stuck to the mat and when you lift the tools, part of the mat disintegrates and sticks to the tool. I could see if my tools had oil or chemical debris on them, but they don't. It stuck to my clean, new hammer that I received as a gift. Do not buy."

I like Bruce, have bought the stuff from Walmart. Sounds like Nathan may be onto something about the vapor. I do know the stuff from Horrible Fright stinks worse than the normal rubber to plastic stuff from them.
