My 16" saw recommends that the teeth hang off the tire at the front. The wheels are describe as flat, but there is a very slight crown, This works well for wider blades (3/4"+) and also protects the tooth offsets. Narrower blades get centered but for those I typically have the finer tooth profiles and am not so worried about damage. Either setup needs no drift compensation.
