re: Big commission piece coming my way

Yep, I’ll make things for friends if they buy the materials, but I rarely even try to sell anything. I’m building a new bed for my Mother in Law. It’s going to be a real stunner. Solid cherry, with a pedastal base, and a lift system for under bed storage, hand made Tiffany style bed post lamps, and on the sides of the pedastal and the foot more lighted stained glass panels. There’s also going to be a copper wire butterfly inlay in the center of the headboard. I’ll happily do that for family, but I doubt anyone would ever pay what I’d charge to build that commercially.
