Know the feeling 987.... and it's not the boots... actually the pink disguises the inflamation... like you mentioned, I find the cuts and grazes usually much later when I towel down after a shower... well after the germs have done their handy work.
I scrape skin off just by brushing against flat objects... the only good thing is that I seem to heal quickly.
