I have some spare scrap of Rosewood, but that looks a bit too deep purple, for the knob.

The catch/latch will be inside with hidden magnets, just like what you showed me the last time we got together and were looking at one of your boxes with hidden compartments. Will probably use maple to keep it uniform…
