re: Table saw sleds, How 5 cut do you need to be?

I made my big sled using the 5 cut method and find it’s still very accurate. The problem is that I have an Incra HD miter gauge which is so accurate it makes anything else seem poorly done. I use the Incra far more than the sled, unless it’s a weird shaped piece that I can’t hold true on the miter gauge. 

I also tend to use manufactured miter runners for jigs now. They’re adjustable and don’t swell or shrink.
