I'm planning on doing this without removing the motor from the saw.
Hi Bruce. The bottom shaft is sthe front end of the motor  .

Hi Lazyman. I have fabricated a Tapered wooden loader  that  I can slide the belts on over some thin pieces of aluminum all the way to the back. It will be a 2 man job and will need a buddy to try it.  I do like the idea of rolling them on but these urethane belts have no give and will not come close to entering the ends. I have ordered some original black replacement belts and will try rolling them on first before using my Rube Goldberg fixture!! The shims are in good shape. I had them out a couple times when removing the motor to have it rebuilt. The new belts should be her on the 24th.

Also I drilled and tapped 2 holes in the motor mount to install some upper  stop screws once I get this back together!!
