re: Shaper Origin

I didn’t know that Fusion would do that. That’s cool. I’ll have to screw around with it. I use Fusion more for svg files for the printer, but I did install the extension so I guess I should use it more. 

I’ve messed up depths on more than one project to be sure. One of them actually pretty much ruined a project. I had too much work into the piece to start over and had to basically cover it up with an inlay. It came out fine and you wouldn’t know it unless you knew what you were looking at, but still. Hopefully the update will prevent that!!

Auto pass runs pretty damn smooth. I didn’t feel the ramping at all and the cuts came out very smooth. I did some overlayed circles at different depths so I could see how the intersecting edges cut. Looked good!

I figure the $200 is my way of supporting their continued R&D and betterment of the whole program they have running over there. I know some folks will scream about it, but that just is what it is. Life’s about choices!
