Very functional. I used a similar table/bench for 20+ years until recently building my Roubo. I still have my table saw mounted in the old one with the powered hand tools underneath. Well done taking the photos of the build and the build details. I removed the router after a few years on mine, and installed a compound powered mitre saw and fence. Just because I had the room for a mobile router bench. Yours works well I can tell. Great job.

It’s great to see what I assume is your daughter helping out. It is the time spent with children in the shop together that creates memories that last a lifetime for both of you! My daughter still comes to the shop to get things done, and now the 3 grandsons are there whenever they can. My son has become a master carpenter, even tho I didn’t have all the skills he attributes the time spent to a career of loving woodworking to the times we spent together designing and building things.

Yes Thorreain, thats my daughter, she loves to be outside with me, when i was building her bedroom furniture she sat out there and played her guitar as i worked. She was only 4 then. The table works great so far, really have only used it for 2 projects, but hopefully once i finish organizing my garage, it will see a lot more use.

Kewl! Do you have any plan to attach a Vise? I went so long without one and cursed every time I needed it. You can pick up a cheap face Vise from Lee valley for $59 I think it was when I got mine in the fall.

I haven’t thought about that, but this thing is a work in progress. I add as I need. I have not had the need for a vise as of yet, but I am sure I will. I will keep your link in mind. Thanks.

Im loving it, it used to be a chore to get ready to do a project. Setting up work horses with a plywood to make tables, pulling tools from shelves, im talking 15-45 minutes setup just to start a project, but since my garage make over plus the addition of this table, set up takes about 10 minutes every time.

Yeah I have been a carpenter my whole life.Set up, take down…set up, take down etc.I know what you mean.It’s sweet when its already set up!
