Anyone with a Tracksaw, especially if it has a long rail needs this item. Consider in a shop where you are routinely swinging around longish boards, and you have an item that to replace cost's some considerable cash. That Tracksaw track, hard to hide, and a tearful day if you trash it with something falling on it, or otherwise it getting injured.
Put it on the inside face of your roll up garage door. Mount it at a height that is easy to get it off the door, and easy to return it to it's safe place. Mine is centered in the next to lowest panel. I just run the door up a bit, stop it, and remove, or return my track at a comfy working height.
2 clips mount the track, and hold it securely. Believe me I have shaken mine, and tied to get it to fail, wasn't happening. However when it's time to take it down, just turn the clamping heads a 1/4 turn, and presto chango, the track is ready to come down. Comes with mounting hardware. Takes just a few minutes to mount, and you are ready to safely store your expensive track, out of the way. Using your roll up garage door allows you to utilize previously unused space. Brillian idea, and pretty cheap. FasCap tracksaw mounting system. Like most things at Amazoo, put it on a price watcher, and you will see price fluctuations. I bought mine for less than 20 bux.
This pic shows it open, ready to remove the track. Simply turn the cogged 1/2 wheel a 1/4 turn, and it covers the track, securing it in place. I have had my door run up and down at least a 1000 times since mounting mine, and no unplanned openings, so vibration isn't a problem. It takes an actual turn. Like most FasCap products it's quality made at an affordable price. This is a good insurance that you won't be having to replace a much more expensive rail.
Set comes with 2 clamps which spread apart easily hold my 9' rail for my DeWalt tracksaw. Made to fit all major brands, and I can also hold a 10' long straightedge I bought in a moment of weakness at a woodworking show.
Chuckled at that. I actually had a friend (yeah I have friends) who bragged about making some for his tracks.... he later asked how to straighten out Fe$tool tracks after they hit the floor,.

Ducky I never noticed them. I think FasCaps stock pic is what I used. I need to take a snap or 3 of a "REAL TOOL" and change out those Green tool pics. :-))))

Funny how when I look at photos of peoples workshop, they all seem to have some sort of a Fe$tool hidden away in some corner/safe of their shop... but I'm sure it was bought not for their quality, but to keep up with theJonesesDucks.

Ryan. A buddy saw mine, and his track saw is the Kreg, and they just have shortie rails, and he put 4 of them up. with 2 pairs of 2, one over the top of each other, and has them hanging from plywood gussets he has hinged, so like an index file, he just flips up the carrier, and takes one off, grabs the next one down, and gets it out, for as many as he needs for whatever he is doing.
I have a long rail, and a shortie. The shortie stays upright, and I have a small area walled off for it to fit into standing up. I just hang my long one. I don't do long sheet cuts near as often as smaller 1/2 sheet and smaller cuts, so I want it out of my way on the garage door. Plus the long one costs about 3 times the price of the shortie. I am planning a 55" tall 24' x 24' square roll around tool cart that I will end up hanging the shortie rail on, and have the saw in the tool cart.
