1/8" shank straight bits for Dremel
Hello all,
I am looking for 1/8" shank straight (up cut preferred) bits for a Dremel.
I found on ebay CNC 1/8" shank up cut bits but I am also looking for 1/6" and 3/32" bits as well. I can't find those.
This will go in the Dremel, the Dremel will be set in the Lee Valley plunge router base for the dremel, so the bits need to be fairly short.
I plan to use this for string inlay, so the depth of cut will be max 1/16"
any help will be appreciated.

Checked MLCS yet? That might be a hard bit to come by

yeah stewmac is where i got mine too !
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.
Stewmac, Dremel, MLCS, or Whiteside, will have them. You might also keyword search "1/8 diameter end mills". A lot of places that sell, and service bits for CNC will have them. Plus just searching will get you lower dollar options like these. Amazon has some too. I will spend a few bux on one that has a cut configuration of what I want sometimes. Not looking at them for hours of work, there I will go higher dollar stuff, but for small runs, or one off...
I am just setting up a cordless router in a table to do some 1/8" diameter work, there are plenty of places out there. seems more growth for 1/8" stuff than any other shank size right now.

Morning all. Early rise, slow start. AC on in the shop for later.
DIL's Corgi over later for the afternoon. So lots of barking, every golfer going by the back gets his greetings. Corgis are sure not what a good Lab or Chessie is. Son keeps saying they are the #4 rated dog for being smart by the AKC. Maybe so, I have not seen it. Maybe No 1 in being an annoyance.
Looked at some English Lab pups yesterday, tempted. Price was way up there. $3000. AKC registered, champion blood lines etc. Still way to expensive. Told the breeder I would offer $600. He laughed at me, wonder why?
Petey: Good fortune on finding the bits. One reason i used the Bosch Colt on stringing as the bits were a bit easier to find and the ones I use are Freud so good quality. 1/4" shank of course, 1/16" cutting width. Never broke one, well not yet, but cutting just 1/16" deep does not put much strain on things.

Haven't read/followed all the response links, however, here's a suggestion.... Googling "micro drill bit set".
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
