I am looking for a piece "key" if you will..for making Japanes saw handle..a number of years ago 25ish there was a little business in Seattle called Tashiro..he sold Japanese saw blades and chisels..the business is long gone sadly..but at the time a person could buy this part "spring blade holder" and make your own handle...This one I made while in a boat building class at Seattle central community college in the early 90s...anyway ..I have been searching online for the last couple days without any luck..does anyone know where I can purchase this part..as I would like to make some more saw handles for my shop , rather than switching blades..
