Started this as a sort of front porch loaded with stools to sit and jaw. NO POLITICS, just friends shooting the breeze n woodworking.

The state of my shop right now.

The rain has stop and go. The dog has to go out. I usually put a Carhartt jacket on the dog to keep him from getting soaked as he dives into wet bushes to do his business.

The baby is in the jogging stroller, ready to go for a ride to get coffee.
Your boy is in.  Shop pics this evening.
I'll be here. I've had some questions in the past but didn't know what post to go to for answers.

Dev, rain finally let up here. Whole lotta snow up the hill. Mine is a garage shop too.
Stef, looking forward to it.
Duck, a lot of well informed folks here so have at it. Good to hear from you again.
Even though it’s embarrassing I will post some shop pics tonight as well. Maybe a few railroad shop pics as well.

Shop is about as clean as it gets. Just finished up a couple things and haven’t started anything new yet…

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

That’s #3 son working over a cherry desktop last year. No recent shop shops to rollout just now.

Ryan, there is just a TON of stuff going on in that space. Wow.

And I think Kevin has a mitre box problem…

ill try and post some of mine this weekend. doesn't look like were gonna get an official shop forum for awhile according to martin. someone else started a shop thread awhile back but it never gained traction ?

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Those shops are to clean and neat. I can see most of the floor and empty spaces on flat surfaces.
Kevin has the t shirt saying he doesn't have a miter box problem.
Yes I do!

As for the mitre boxes, I’ve begin to look for new homes for some of them since they seem to have begun to reproduce on their on.

Got a 15-1/2 or 16-1/2 or a Mitre Planer looking for a new home Kev? 😁

I sometimes look at other people's shops and wondered how I've ended up with so much random crap in mine lol

MosquitoMade.com

I know how I end up with way too much random cheap in my shop.
Ken, wish I did. My 15 1/2 is a keeper and I already sold an MF 1624 a while ago.

I read somewhere once that it's only a problem if you don't have enough storage space, beyond that it's just a collection. :-)

I tried to get a camera into my shop to take a pic. It was too stuffed full of junk, tools, and partially completed projects to get the camera inside, so I just took a pic of the outside. Actually it's a build pic from way back when.

Snuck an hour in before dinner n homework with the boy.  Lil bevel action for ya.
DonW, good job with the next generation.

George, impressive building but we still need to see inside!

Stef, way too clean buddy. But still nice.
