I live southeast of Santa Fe. If I take I-25 to town, I have to take the southbound direction. If I’m on US-285, which shares pavement with I-25 between here and town, I’m headed northbound. Go figure.
I one gets on the North 101 fwy in LA at the east end of its starting point, one will proceed west for a good 25 or so miles before it finally heads north, continuing for quite a distance north. Confusing, all the same.
Jim Jakosh ..... Hi Alex are the pot holes marked for directions???
Yep, DOWN! Straight down to the insurance company that wont pay up. Our Victorian Roads threshold amount for pothole compensation is $1,640 for the 2024–2025 financial year... For an average of $2,500 damage???? go figure $$$$.
I thank the pagan gods for lumbering me with a bloody unliftable 18" wheel/tyre (though your tires may be lyter)... that I could never lift, but at least it "sails" over the smaller potholes I can't see and I can always drive on the wrong side of the road for the ones I can. Â

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
Calling 911 from my home I always say which city/town they are heading too, because the route in front of my house has signs saying both N and S heading the same directions, both ways, and only one route listed, so I tell the operator it changes every few miles, so I can't say for sure. ODOT ( Ohio Department of Transportation ) routinely has people with their heads buried in their backside. I would bet $$$$$ the SOTP painting was in Ohio.Â
I’m sure you got a system that work George, but you can also give them Lat/Long and they can use that too…sometimes easier, honestly. If it’s on a roadway, even just three digit past the decimal is plenty close enough. Google maps will give you the data just by dropping a pin.
Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".
