what happened to woodbutcherbynight ? he came on and made some posts then disappeared ? he was known as gunny on LJ'S! anyone have his email or anyway how to contact him ? great guy and i was thrilled when he showed up here for a brief time then, disappeared again ? i think he said he was having problems getting on here so i think he may have just gave up ? well with no host helping with these things, what can we do !

I was wondering too. His wife is Ukrainian and there was still other family over there he and she would visit occasionally. Hopefully he's still stateside for safeties sake and just needs a nudge to get here.

yeah right ! you pat yourself on the back woodcraft boy ! 🤣 rich instead of coming on here and making nasty rude comments how about posting something you actually made from wood ? maybe posting some ideas ? maybe saying something nice about something someone has done ? no i guess thats not who you are is it ? 🙄

ok success ! i tried calling both numbers last night but they went to voice mail. then late last night he sent me a text saying he was on a zoom call with his ukranian army unit at the time. he's still here in georgia and still works at the auto shop he was at back when we were at lj's. he works evenings doing analysis and tactical evaluations for them. he's being promoted the major next month. he does what he can from here in the states. their lucky to have someone with his experience. im actually texting with him right now. the reason he's been gone is he had problems getting on. he's gonna try again tonight when he gets home. im gonna take a long shot and see if martin will help him ? i told him were kind of a ship with no captain these days.

Not alot of woodworking as of last 2 years other than minor repairs to house as needed. Have regular job by day, evenings are taken up by my other duties for Ukraine. I did take a welding class and learned to MIG weld, even bought a 24 inch box / bender to make boxes and dividers for.
