The finished Dish. Gather all the ingredients. I like to remove the seeds from the tomato and then the skins after the dish is cooked. Chop all the vegetables. Adding the Extras Virgin olive oil to the pan. Set the heat to medium low. Adding the vegetables. I only add half the garlic at this point. The pasta is now cooking. I now add the wine to the pan. The raw shrimp are now added and the rest of the garlic. When shrimp are frozen their cells break and most of their juice escapes when they thaw out. I add the juice to the pan. It adds so much more flavor. If the shrimp are fresh they taste even better?
Note: don’t overcook the shrimp. About 5 minutes is about right. They get tough if cooked too long. I cook the pasta and shrimp so they’re finished cooking at the same time. Now add the butter.
