wilton vice

recently my wilton vice has not been tightening properly, like something is binding. Wondering if any of you have any experience with them? Took it apart and everything appears fine.

Try putting a little wax on the thread.

I ended up putting a real small shim above the nut mechanism. working good now, i’m thinking I will take it out and braze a small bead on the top for longterm fix.
