Screw drivers that look great, where to find'em

In the early planning stages of a shop tool cabinet and am looking for some nice traditional screw drivers. I want to have them on hand for when I plan the layout. Lee Valley has a set that is not too bad but out of stock at the moment. Anyone have any other ideas?

CF, you might want to look at Highland Tools, they have a wide selection of woodworking tools.

Can you piece together a used old set from around your area?
I have the LeeValley wooden handled ones and they are great. They show as available online here in Canada. Maybe they're keeping it local!

I have the Lee Valley ones as well. I like them. Highland Woodworking also looks like they have a nice set.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

For wood handled screwdrivers I like Grace Tools.  I have their 10 pc gunsmithing set.  They have a nice even grind on both sides of the flat head.  If I was picking some up to put in a tool cabinet for woodworking Grace would be my first choice.
I've been keeping my eyes open for this style of screwdriver because you can fairly easily replace the scales with whatever would you want to make them look as fancy as you like.   I found this image on Amazon.  I have no idea if they are any good but I have seen vintage ones fairly often.

They'd better be good - heck, they're supposed to be Perfect. 😉

Perfect Handle screwdrivers have a good following - I should try to remember to keep an eye out when I'm poking through antique stores.
I have several Perfect Handles waiting for new scales.  You'd think it's a simple thing to do but if you want to use hard exotics, it's not.  With softer woods you could press them into the recess in a vise but if the wood is too hard for that, you have to nibble away with rasps/sandpaper to try to get an exact fit.

I'll vote for Grace as well.  The hardened tips and parallel grinds are fantastic.
I have a set of Chestnut Tool brand "Perfect Handles" parallel ground drivers which have since been discontinued at LeeValley. They are very nice. I really like the Grace but I believe they only come with parallel slotted tips. The LeeValley ones give me Phillips and Robertson as well.

Grace makes all types of drivers.  I have flats, phillips, robertson, and torx drivers from them.

Good to hear! LeeValley used to just carry the gunsmith ones so I just "assumed". :)

These from Narex look good and are not expensive either
Does anyone make a new reproduction of the perfect handle screwdriver?
Gunson appears to make a similar style to the Chestnut Tools and Perfect Handle ones. https://bigamart.com/product/gunson-77145-classic-wooden-handle-screwdriver-flat-9mm-x-160mm/?gclid=CjwKCAiAwc-dBhA7EiwAxPRylNhirAAMU0jEbOSgpEQw4-FVM3uXOkfr0frxBCmm3HEqvDZVyJKXVBoCoocQAvD_BwE

Thanks guys, lee valley is back in stock but Grace looks okay too but they don't list price on their site. Time for more research before I pull the trigger.
The screwdriver picture I showed a picture of above is on Amazon but probably has the most awful reviews I've ever seen on Amazon so not worth sharing.

What style are you looking for?

I've got a set of Lee Valley's old Perfect Handle style drivers that are alright.

I've also got a new set of Marples turn screws that are also alright.
