Migrating Blogs and Projects from LJ

I'm looking at migrating my blogs and projects over from the LJ site. Then they will be preserved here if LJ someday crashes. I know some of you have done this already. Any tips or tricks you would like to share before I get started? Is there a way to migrate them in bulk or do I have to post each one separately? I'd prefer to not post them as NEW blogs and projects because anyone who has seen them before will then have to see them again. Any way to just silently post them without making a big deal out of it?
I’ve had to do each one individually. One thing I found was that LJ would hand me low resolution images when I just copy-pasted the whole article, so I had to go back and put in the full-resolution images manually, too. Once I had to do that extra step, I decided to re-do everything on my own website. Not that I don’t trust Martin, but I’d rather have my copies somewhere that I control a bit more (by paying for).

I’m between a third and a half done (I had a lot of projects over on the old site), and once completed, I figure I’ll move some things here, since that now works with just a copy and paste.

By the way, rmsaws.com says I’m not allowed to read it. Have you closed the doors?

May you have the day you deserve!

I made rmsaws invisible to the public about a year ago because I wasn't in a position to take in any work due to other life commitments. I still do saw sharpening for friends like yourself, but whether I ever open the site back up to the public I don't know at this time.
Ahh. Got it. Thanks!
