Much time has past since my last post here, too much time and change, both in my life and in my workshop, to go back and bring everyone up to date. Last summer I felt recovered enough to where I felt getting back to my old life was mostly possible. As of last summer I have been concentrating on re-organizing the workshop, which included deciding what should go, should stay, and how to put it away and find it afterward. I’ve built cabinets, built and added repurposed drawers to benches, made carts and stands, and relocated to the landfill a few full loads of trash wood. That’s almost a half a ton each trip. It’s paid off. But now, as I approach the final stretch of this ungodly race for law and order, I’m bogged down in a task most of us hate to get involved with…

This, too, shall pass. I think. (sigh)
