large torsion worktable #2: Main top complete with router lift

This is part 2 in a 4 part series: large torsion worktable

Finally got a few hours to get a lot done. Cut down the top and routed the lift opening in.

As well I smashed up the old bench from the houses previous owner and rolled this one into place to see how it fit.

If you dont like what you can buy, build it.

Wow very cool. You did a great job. Hey what’s the top.made of. That has a nice finish on it. Love the color of the top.

Thanks all. Jeff in all honesty I have no idea what the top is. It’s cut from an old boardroom table top that’s an inch thick and had to weight a metric ton
