Hi! I have only been crocheting for about 2 1/2 months. I decided at the age of 61 to try it out.
Thanksgiving, I was visiting my sister, in Arizona. She has been crocheting for MANY years & has made some lovely creations. I asked her to show me a basic stitch. I took to it pretty quickly. My first project was a scarf(of course)?. When I returned home, I went on YouTube, & watched videos on hats. To date I have made 10 hats, two scarves& 5 boot toppers! I've also started two afgahns. I am hooked! I do better if I see how it's done rather than reading a pattern. YouTube is wonderful for that.
