I sort of learned to knit in home ec. Then on my first job after graduation, a lady brought her crocheting with her & that was it for me! My first real attempt to crochet was a baby blanket for my daughter. I am SO GLAD I've improved since that VERY crooked result!

Mostly I make afghans but have also made scarves and hats for the homeless for the winter months through a Fiber group I'm involved in. I taught my grand daughter how to crochet once she finally sat still long enough, and she is so smart! She creates her own patterns, some from just a sketch, or alters others for a unique look. I love hanging out with her and talking shop!

I dabble in embroidery, paper crafts, and ceramics. I'll sometimes do a latch hook. Oh, and I love frogs, especially red-eyed tree frogs!
