I spent the first 20 years of my teaching career in the wood shop. As "hands on" programs were phased out of high schools in Indiana, I became a principal. Soon found my way to the best job in the world as an elementary principal where I worked with smaller students for the last 22 years. Having retired at the end of the 2013-14 school year, I am in the process of putting together a wood shop in an unfinished portion of our basement. Trying to find my niche and getting back to the sawdust therapy I enjoyed for several years.

Sawdust theropy is the best theropy.
