Thanks, I'm yet another LJ member that discovered this great site. It's good to see so many familiar and knowledgeable names, l, like yours, over here.

yeah it's so much better here. the censoring and over moderating got to be rediculous. when i spoke out about it they banned me. there are a few more here that got banned also. hey tell your friends, come on over here.

Hi Tony, welcome to Craftisian. I saw a post where you mentioned the Greenville Guild. I'm up in Walhalla area, I was wondering how far you are from me.

Main Street to the Mountains

Eric, the Guild shop is just off of West Butler Road in Greenville close to Mauldin. From Walhalla it is about 1 hr 15 min.

I don't know if there are members from Walhalla (there probably are), but I do know there are several members from Seneca.

TonyC
I know were Butler Rd is. I am guessing that you are in Greenville County.

Main Street to the Mountains

I am a member of the Greenville Guild. I still need to go to an orientation class on the dust house but it has only been a year now. I joined mainly to use it as a good wood source but did go to the tool sale and one monthly meeting.
Eric, actually I live in the city limits North of downtown.

TonyC
controlfreak, I saw on LJ you had joined the Guild.

Hope to run into you there sometime.

I doubt it Tony, only been twice, tool sale and Studley tool chest meeting. I will keep membership going and may get down there more if I can ever retire. Gas will likely be $10 a gallon by then.
I have been meeting a few folks over here in Oconee County, at a couple of the small craft type shows.
