Martin Thank you, I’m very glad to see you back in the saddle again!
Paul Glad to see you made it back alive. I hope you had a great time on your voyage. I cut the veneers for our little project yesterday and glued paper on the ones for the marquetry picture. I plan to make the packet today and cut it. My fear level is falling fast as everything has gone very smoothly so far. Now I’m worried about the sand shading. One step at a time.
David If you decide to make a trip to Norway please let me know. It would be nice to have a visit from a fellow woodworker and I would be glad to show you around our area with it’s fjords, mountains and coastline. It’s all with a few minutes of where I live. I am located near Stavanger Norway. It rains a lot here, but we just ignore it. We do have some good weather too occasionally.
Bob Good to see you here too. Actually I posted the year I was born, 1940 ( not 1840). Sorry to hear that you are have the pain problems. I plan to keep going until I drop, but I hope that won’t be in the garden, but in the shop. We visit my MIL in the old folks home every Sunday and I’m always surprised to see so many folks my age there, it’s scary. I hope you get well soon so you can enjoy your woodworking again. I always love your projects (creations?). Meanwhile I hope my little poem cheered you up.
L/W and Ian Thanks much to both of you. It’s good to see you here too.
