Sorry Lofty, but to me a box is a box... however, your locking mechanism is cool.
I say this 'cause I used to make a lot of boxes but always crapped out in the lid securement without fancy hardware.
I now make most of my boxes out of laser cut MDF, however, this "simple" mechanism has got my creative juices flowing... off to SketchUp.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
