Those are too good for workshops... maybe for office use... not criticism, but for an office, a letter openner instead of the scribe would have nailed it.
I had a couple of those pen/cils in my workshop but kept loosing them amongst the timber... still finding "new" old ones occasionally. Have gone a la Moke and surrendered to my acrylic side as it is hard to get red, in timber without a generous amount of bloodshed.
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
