ok here are my swap items that went to my recipient earl.ill try to remember what i did,cant be worse than losing the letter describing the details from my sender keebler.

#1 is the four items i made an awl,6 in 1 screwdriver, a large combo shop pencil/pen and a key chain with screwdriver bits inside.

#2 just showing the items with accessories.

#3 the awl is made from kingwood made from a kit i got from wood world of texas,finished with mylands friction polish on the lathe.

#4 the 6 in 1 screwdriver is made from cocobolo finished also with friction polish on the lathe.coco polishes very easliy,even without a finish.

#5 this is a large sketch pencil with a pen insert.wood is zircote finished on the lathe.these make great rough sketch pencils for woodworking.ive got a couple including the one i got from keebler.

#6 is a kit i got from penn state.it'sey chain with 4 different screwdriver,awl type insets.made from buckeye burl. i may make more this year as holiday gifts.

this was a fun swap with a bunch of guys that are as good as it gets.i highly recommend if youve never done a swap try one,i gaurantee you'll have a blast meet great people and get some amazing things

Great stuff Pottzy. Where did you get the shop pencil kit from? Or did you just modify one?

Those are too good for workshops... maybe for office use... not criticism, but for an office, a letter openner instead of the scribe would have nailed it.

I had a couple of those pen/cils in my workshop but kept loosing them amongst the timber... still finding "new" old ones occasionally.
Have gone a la Moke and surrendered to my acrylic side as it is hard to get red,

in timber without a generous amount of bloodshed. 

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
