Thank you all for the nice comments. I made them for the people that gave me the wood and I have some older ones for the craft sale in March.
Hi Paul. Yes, we are in Casa Grande. Better than Michigan with 14-18" of snow.
Hi Petey The body is 2" diameter and 4 1/2" long. It has 1" hole and a 1/4 bored in the side and a 1 1/2 holed bored down the center the tops can be any size.
Hi Pottzy, the guy that showed the turning process on You Tube says that they birds most likely will not used them. They are mostly for decoration. They have to be located 10' to 40' high for them to next in one.
