Nice box, could be used for a number of items.
I can't stand to let fancy cutoffs go to the burn bag, good to see someone else shares my belief!

Did you embed the magnets into the wood through the top (cover with fill or thin wood strips) or tunnel up from the bottom, just shy of the surface?
