Don't let anyone tell you you're completely useless... you can always be used as a bad example.

I used my transfer punches to position them within 0.5 of a mm.

Though seriously, thanks for that info... I've never come across those before... How do/would they hold up against brick/concrete?

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
