The top was actually the bottom when cast and the mold surface was a melamine. I also filleted the corners of the mold to get round corners on the top.
All I did for vibration was to whack the mold with a hammer quite a bit 🤣
The early bird gets the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.
