re: Geisha - a Japanese style box

James,theres no paint on the Geishas.  Its all natural or stained veneer, shell, reconstitutred stone, plus a bit of black and white filler for some of the fine details.  The shell, and reconstituted stone Dots I get from Australian Mother of Pearl.
