Tynewman commented 2 minutes ago new I haven't found my favorite way to do dovetails yet. Right now I am using a combination of power tools and hand tools. I don't like using a router. I don't like the look of dovetails when the pins and tails are the same size.....
Taking nothing away from the great job you did Ty, but for the devients from hand tools, The Leigh D4R will let you play with dovetail layouts... the downside is you can't make those "super thin" tail bases... I hadn't got into separating the 1/2 fingers (in above) to vary the size of tails, just the distance between.
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
