Thanks, John. On Osage, you need real sharp tools and do a lot of sheer scraping ( real fine cuts ) for finishing. Some times  if you wet the  wood it cuts cleaner and then sand when dry. I do that when threading a lot because it will tear out out v - threads  when dry.
