Reminds me of the old crates they used to sell at "Peaches" record stores. Just much higher end work. The laser work allows you to personalize them so anyone could feel that special touch.
More and more I see that lasers, and CNC's really are as much woodworking and craft as not. Used with traditional woodworking methods they allow for a super high degree of art, and personalization. In this case the laser has made a huge impact.
