re: Ipe table top

thank you all. ipe is a great wood for outdoor projects. no matter how bad it weathers a sanding and fresh coat of oil and it looks brand new. but it's damn heavy and very expensive, at least here in socal. we had a guy do a large wrap around deck about 10 years ago, he spent over 300k ! he was a millionaire though. so whenever there is some crappy looking stuff we want to through away i tell em, ill take it !
