Ipe table top

we had this metal patio table that i never cared for. it was a square top with slats every 6". i thought, it needs a wood top. working at a lumber yard has it's perks. i told the yard forman if you find any old weathered ipe let me know. last week he said there was 4 pcs 6"x 12' that had been lying out since last july. yeah it looked like hell but with some sanding and oil finish, it now looks like new. i looked up the ticket on it and it was over 600 bucks ! cost me only sanding time. so i ran the edges through the jointer to make em square and glued the top up in 4 sections. dominos every foot or so. glued with titebond 3. i pre cut the radius on the ends on the band saw before glue up. i did not wanna try and cut this with a jigsaw and at about 100lbs i did not wanna attempt to do it whole on the bandsaw. finish was redwood penofin to enhance the color. top is now 53".
