Hi Bruce. I have the used the carb cleaner too and sharp steel pick to get rid of the buggers. We cut some old logs one time that were left from clearing the cotton fields in Az. Some had the flying bugs in the holes- the ones that lay the eggs. They are a pretty big bug to start boring those holes!
