Could see that as a way to cut the number of clamps used in a panel glue-up
Could avoid the extras hired on for the caul clamping, but these might be a bit too weak for the task, However.... When clamping frame corners, there is a use for cauls on the corners for which these might just be ideal.
Anything to reduce the clamp parts density also would be a plus
I'd rather have attachments versus buying dedicated 3-way gizmos
