My four stage has painted a tractor or two, and has applied a whole lot of latex. I'm using the #3 needle, but it works fine. I do thin. Say about two tablespoons of water per quart. Nothing has blown up or fallen off.
I did order a bunch of Fuji valves, in case I kill one on a job. I like the Titan and Capspray ones because they can be taken apart and cleaned, but the Fuji's a far cheaper.
In a pinch, with the remote, I could run a straight air hose off (sans the check valve) to pressurize the pot, since the remote pot is less likely to be tipped.
