Doing this and adding any of the commercially available DC elements/fittings can make it so that doing some form of DC can be made for a lot of tools, and many of them in a lot of different ways. So long as the housing is behind the biggest flow of dust, it is going to help. By moving, or adding, additional parts and pieces it can increase efficiency. Thing is when you hit the sweet spot it doesn't need "testing" all of a sudden the dust pile is gone. Makes ya smile to see it happening right in front of your nose.
