Do you have more in the laser for an enclosure, fan etc. Or is that stuff something you can make yourself? I'm where Barb is on the laser, do I need one, or just think it's cool? Cost, knowledge are both tripping points.
If you (and BB1) decide to bite the bullet laser beam, if you can possible find a few extra shekels get one that will cut at least 3mm ply/MDF. Forget my MDF puzzles... the cut will permit making routing templates that can then be extrapolated into extensive projects.
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
