re: Memory box

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I think this type of project is what is so special about this woodworking hobby for me.  Being able to build custom items for our home is a definite plus, but I find shop time on "gift projects" to be what I love most.  Retreating to the shop is a way to step away from the flow of life and simply focus on the project steps while also thinking about the recipient(s) and praying for them.

Carey - very nice to build the box for your neighbor's ashes (guess I consider any holder for actual ashes as an "urn") -  a silver engraving will be a nice feature.  The box I built will just be for items of sentimental value.
