Nice board Jim. I'm just finishing one up, I've been getting the end grain buzz lately, and went about mine from the bandsaw POV, rather than the TS's, more on that when I post, but my fangers were a lot happier using the BS, tiny angles on the TS tend to make my buttocks tense up.
Agree about a LOT of glue, and a LOT of glue ups, then you just cut them up, almost seems silly, then you come around that last corner, and it's like Ohhhhhh I see... :-)
