Yeah, Barb. A lot of my stuff lately gets given away, either to local friends or also to strangers on the internet. I’ll post a giveaway about once a month on mastodon.

Jim, I think it was third try, maybe fourth. The ball is small enough compared to the hole in the cup that it might be too easy.

Tom, I’ve never turned a ball before, but once I figured out the workholding (turned a cavity in a piece of rock maple scrap, and used the cup live center on the tailstock), it wasn’t too bad. It just ended up a smaller ball than I had initially thought.
