Thanks you all for the nice comments. I'll get right on that box. The current one is a little cramped when I put in the 3/8" boring bars. All the 1/2"one  I have would never fit in there.

Hi Tom. This tool is for boring holes in steel- anything really- where you need an accurate fit for something. The last time I used it I had to bore some holes for bearings  for the trailer I made for my hovercraft. The blocks were 1 1/2" x 4" x 8" cold rolled steel.  That was in 1988 !
