re: Testing Finishes and Pre-finishing the Case

I've had waxy shellac sit in a jar on the shelf and had the wax precipitate to the bottom. I usually just dip my rag into the top to get the good stuff, but the wax is easily stirred up. The freezer idea seems like it would harden up the wax and make a pour-off a lot easier
